Bubble Pick is a fun and intuitive decision-making app that turns your photos into floating bubbles! Upload your options, watch them float around with realistic physics, then tap the rainbow-colored control bubble to randomly select one.

How to Use Bubble Pick

Step 1: Add Your Photos

  1. Tap the camera icon to take a new photo
  2. Tap the gallery icon to choose existing photos
  3. Add up to 10 images for your decision
  4. Each photo will appear as a floating bubble with realistic physics

Step 2: Watch Them Float

Your photos will float around the screen as bubbles, bouncing off each other and the edges with realistic physics. The bubbles move constantly, creating a mesmerizing effect while you decide.

Step 3: Make Your Decision

  • Tap the rainbow-colored control bubble to randomly select a winner
  • The winning bubble will be highlighted with a special animation
  • All other bubbles will pop, leaving only your winner

Step 4: Remove or Reset

  • Remove a bubble: Tap any bubble to remove it from consideration
  • Start over: Close and reopen the app to start fresh with new photos

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many photos can I add?

A: You can add up to 10 photos at a time. This limit ensures optimal performance and visibility of each bubble.

Q: Where are my photos stored?

A: All photos are stored locally on your device only. They never leave your device and are not uploaded to any servers. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Q: Why do the bubbles reset when I close the app?

A: For privacy reasons, the app resets to its initial state each time you open it. This ensures your photos don't stay in memory longer than necessary.

Q: Can I use this app without internet?

A: Yes! Bubble Pick works completely offline. It doesn't require any internet connection to function.

Q: How does the random selection work?

A: When you tap the rainbow control bubble, the app uses a random number generator to fairly select one of your bubbles. Each bubble has an equal chance of being selected.

Q: What permissions does the app need?

A: The app only requests camera and photo library access (both optional). Camera access is needed to take new photos, and photo library access is needed to select existing photos. You can decline either permission and still use the other method.

Q: Is my data private?

A: Absolutely! Bubble Pick is designed with privacy in mind. No data is collected, no analytics are tracked, and your photos never leave your device.

Q: What iOS version do I need?

A: Bubble Pick requires iOS 13.0 or later. The app is optimized for modern iOS devices including iPhone and iPad.

Troubleshooting

Photos Won't Upload

Problem: You can't add photos to the app.

Solution:

  • Check that you've granted camera/photo library permissions in iOS Settings
  • Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Bubble Pick and enable "Selected Photos" or "Full Access"
  • If using the camera, make sure Camera access is also enabled
  • Try restarting the app after granting permissions

App is Slow or Laggy

Problem: The bubbles don't move smoothly.

Solution:

  • Close other apps running in the background
  • Restart your device
  • Make sure you're running the latest version of iOS
  • The app performs best with 3-7 bubbles; using fewer bubbles may improve performance on older devices

App Crashes on Launch

Problem: The app closes immediately when opened.

Solution:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the app from the App Store
  • Restart your device
  • Check that your iOS version is up to date
  • Try deleting and reinstalling the app (note: this will remove all local data)
  • If the problem persists, contact us at admin@redeogen.com

Rainbow Bubble Doesn't Respond

Problem: Tapping the rainbow control bubble doesn't select a winner.

Solution:

  • Make sure you have at least 2 bubbles on screen
  • Try tapping directly on the center of the rainbow bubble
  • If the bubbles are moving too fast, wait for them to settle slightly
  • Close and reopen the app to reset the state

Can't See All My Photos

Problem: Some photos from your library don't appear.

Solution:

  • Check your photo permissions - you may have "Selected Photos" enabled instead of "Full Access"
  • Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Bubble Pick
  • Choose "Full Access" or select additional photos
  • The app only supports standard image formats (JPG, PNG, HEIC)

  • Perfect for food decisions: Take photos of menu items or restaurant options
  • Movie night: Screenshot movie posters and let the app decide what to watch
  • Vacation planning: Add photos of potential destinations
  • Outfit selection: Take photos of different outfit combinations
  • Remove options: Tap bubbles you definitely don't want before making the final selection
  • Watch the physics: The bubbles have realistic collision detection - it's fun to watch!
